"Many students within the public school and inner city areas may find it hard to advance to the potential of becoming confident readers. Due to lack of interest, attention span, and teaching inabilities youth may find literacy harder to overcome. With much practice, all things can be mastered. Becoming stronger readers to excel in core subjects is the key to stronger leaders within society. The overall objective for this lesson plan is to assist in the area of self-assured student empowerment that can be achieved within the reading areas of learning and future study skills".
