Recently we had to change Gareth from being with a nanny to being at an in home daycare because the nanny felt that because Gareth was not vaccinated he was a danger to her children, though her family and kids had been sick several times and Gareth has only logged one cold his entire life. So after telling Kevin and I we were not being responsible parents and neglecting to protect our child by not giving him shots, we luckily found a wonderful wonderful in home daycare where Gareth has truly gotten back to being a flourishing and happy toddler with plenty of new toddler playmates. It was definitely a blessing in disguise as we have never seen him happier being any where else. And imagine that, he didnt give anyone any diseases... :) Rant over. But point is, I will always respect the decision a parent makes for their child because I try to assume they did what is best for them and thats not for me to judge. I never make the decisions that impact my child lightly, they are always backed with an enormous amount of research and thought. Keep an open mind.
