Recently we have received some negative reviews / feedback where people are understandably disappointed that we have had to postpone experiences due to weather conditions. We would like to address this so any future visitors are aware - All of our experiences are weather dependant and this is clearly displayed on our Gift Certificates and our staff will also advise this at the point of sale, we also take a contact number at the point of booking to enable us to contact people if we cannot carry out the encounter. Our birds’ welfare will always come first and foremost, and whilst we understand it can be frustrating that people are looking forward to a visit but then we have to postpone. We also do not want to have to postpone experiences as this then affects the income to the centre and as a not-for-profit organisation this is obviously not great for us. We know many of our visitors and supporters will understand this and many have been and enjoyed visits / encounters when we have weather on our side. Any visitors this past week / weekend will have seen us constantly changing the birds’ baths for cooler water / spraying them to keep them cool etc. as it has just been too hot for most of us - including our birds! If anyone does want to leave any reviews / feedback regarding visits / encounters taken at the centre please do so either on here or Trip Advisor or via email to [email protected] We always appreciate feedback, especially constructive as we want to give our visitors the best experience possible. We thank all of you who understand we will only do what is best for our birds.
