Recently, we havent been very good about updating everyone and so many people have shared their concern by messaging us. WOW! Your concern really humbles us again and again. Honestly, weve been so busy doing all of Kristis therapy at home that weve had very little free time. Kristi hasnt been able to get back into therapy since we left Zale. PRMC is still too full to get her in to PT or OT. I have spoken with the director of Rehab and the CEO of the hospital several times but we still cannot get in after 6 weeks of trying. THANKFULLY, her great ST has been so diligent and worked her in on a limited basis but is trying desperately to open up more times. Kristis PM&R doctor from Zale (as well as her primary care doctor) wants her to have a MINIMUM of 3 days per week of all three therapies so PRAYERFULLY something will open up SOON! Regardless, she will begin PT (and hopefully OT) at the new clinic that is opening here in Paris very soon. This PT is very excited about helping Kristi! She is still walking on the walker much of the time but theres been no more progress. We just arent professionals but trying to do the best we can. We work with her daily on memory tasks but her memory deficits continue to be the great barrier. Please pray for Kristis therapies to resume, her walking to progress, and her memory to get better.
