Recieved call from this number around 12.20pm (03-2078 2177). It was directed to an operator asked me to cofirm payment (purchase gold from Poh Kong KLCC amounted RM3,800). So i talked to the officer from AMbank. I told him that i do not have credit card and macam mana I nak buat any transaction since im rite now in penang while purchase made in KLCC. Then dia cakap that my id has been stolen and somebody has been using my id to apply for credit card and already approve on 7th Feb 2014 at AMBank seri hartamas. He told me that I have an outstanding balance of RM6232.40. This so called officer is so good. He did advise me to lodge a report to BNM since he already blocked the card. I cakap dengan dia. But he said he only can block the cc but he cant cancle the card so I need to make a report to BNM. So he did asked me if I want him to transfer my call to BNM. Mcm funny pulak you can make a report just via phone call. So i told him that I will call BNM myself. Then I call BNM nak tanya how to make on this fraud thing. Talk to the officer and she told me that semua call tu tipu and I was lucky sebab i call BNM directly instead of asked the officer to transfer the call. Nasib la baik.... huhu Sebab masa tu dah cuak for sure you will tell everything bout bank acc and etc. She told me... kalau ada org call.. just cancle the call or terus call BNM to re confirm on this. If you asked the bank officer to transfer your call to the BNM they will do so and so called BNM officer will talk to you and will start to ask all the bank detail you have. Then they will ask you to transfer all your money to 1 active account which is from situ they will take your money. So beware!
