Recipe of dal bhukhara, for half kg dal.u hav to use 400 gms of black gram and 50 gm of each channa dal and rajmah. Now soak them overnite with salt and a teaspoon of mustard oil.also add a spoon full of fresh masala made of cloves,cinamon,choti elaichi. Now give all this a whistle and leave it overnite. Then open the lid of the cooker and let it remain like this overnite. Now in the morning u hav to cook this dal witout putting the lid of the cooker .meaning khula rakh kar no whistle.then tadka chop three onions and ,8 tomatoes done in a blender with two green chillies. Also put one spoon each of ginger and garlic paste. Now at the time of tadka first fry the onions then put tomatos then put the ginger garlic paste or else this paste will not let the onions fry properly . Now the trick once the onions hav fried put 100 ml of creame fry it then add tomatoes and the paste . Now put this in the dal and wait till it is cooked. It takes abt 4/6 hours to cook but the end result is amazing
