“Recommend EHR due to poor prognosis”—with those sinister words, ACC has given up on any hope for Freddy and put him on tomorrow’s euthanasia list. Now it may be that this old guy is just too sick to have a long life ahead of him but after 10 years, he deserves the dignity and respect an old boy like him has earned. So tonight, Freddy is looking for that very special person who can give him the comfort and care he needs—no matter what it is. He can only be pulled by a New Hope rescue who will not only need a foster but also pledges to make sure he gets the best vet assessment possible. If the best that can be done for Freddy is to let him go to the Rainbow Bridge with love and respect, so be it. But maybe, a good vet can find a way of giving him some good quality time. Either way, its better than going out as another anonymous number in a place called ACC. If you think that you might be able to give Freddy some love and dignity, step up to foster or adopt him. And if you can spare even a few dollars, pledge to make sure that he gets the real vet assessment he deserves. But do it now-tomorrow, ACC won’t hesitate to make Freddy gone forever, alone, scared and feeling totally abandoned.
