Recommended listening: Janet Feder, Leavings Few artists move me like Janet Feder does. She plays - and prepares, with small metal and other objects for unique tonal creation and resonance - her baritone guitar in such beautifully original ways. Her album Songs With Words is lodged firmly in my most-frequently-played list. Her most recent release is Leavings, and Ill just quote her Bandcamp page to describe it: Leavings is a feature film score, most of which didnt end up in the film (hence, its name) which is fine by us, because it all ended up here! Janet plays baritone guitar(s), ukulele (thank you Elaine DeFalco), banjo (thank you Colin Bricker) and a few other things that arent typically used as musical instruments. Paul was at the controls the whole way; finding and manipulating sounds, playing a variety of keyboards and also a beautiful wooden flute. Describing it further would really do more harm than good.
