Recovering this weekend from a minor surgical procedure I had done on Thursday morning. Not able to get around so good yet & I feel uncomfortable, but really lucky too. Im grateful to be surrounded by such a kind & generous group of friends & fam--most notably my husband who is a saint, a genius, & a hero. Im not too fond of being helpless like this, but its made me realize how much it really means when the people you love show up. As soon as I get better I want to put all this love & support Ive received back into the world--probably in the form of giant pans of baked ziti.
