Recreational vs. Performance vs. Competitive MWG Fergus’ Dance Teams What avenue do I put my child in? Are they equally important? Will my child get the attention they deserve regardless of which team I choose? As parents, every decision we make about our children can be difficult. At Move with Grace Fergus, we have attempted to take the stress out of at least one decision – which dance program! ~First of all – nothing is mandatory and nothing is set in stone. If you choose one team and it is not the right fit for your child, the next year, you can choose another – we’ll work with you! What we want is for your dancer to feel comfortable, confident and LOVE to dance! ~Secondly - every team is equally important to us and every dancer will receive the very best in technique and choreography. There are no “just a” dancers here – “just a” recreational, “just a” performance team member … These words do not exist in our dance studio! The dancer who gives it their all on the stage – whether it’s one performance at the end of the year, a few performances throughout the year or several through competition season – is the dancer we are proud of – and that means ALL of them! Personal Best is our mantra! ~Lastly – Relax and enjoy the experience of being a Dance Mom or a Dance Dad or a Dance Supporter. Dance is a beautiful and rewarding art form, created for pleasure and enjoyment, not stress. Your dancer is going to learn so much and they are going to want to show it to you. Take it all in and know when you see that smile and that sense of pride, you’ve done the right thing – it’s the stuff Goosebumps are made of! If you wish to discuss the different options available to your dancer, please feel free to give us a call or text 226-979-1455 or email MWGFergus@rogers and we would love to chat.
