Recruitment of the 1st APCEIU Supporters begins! (제1기 APCEIU 서포터즈 영문공지) We hope to recruit the 1st APCEIU Supporters who will take the initiative to lead the Education for International Understanding (EIU) of UNESCO. APCEIU (Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding) is a UNESCO affiliated organization that was founded to foster Education for International Understanding in the Asia-Pacific region. Education for International Understanding takes an integrated approach to peace, human rights, cultural diversity, sustainable development, and globalization, to resolve racial, cultural, and religious conflicts and contribute to building a world where peace and human rights are respected. Share your talents by becoming a member of APCEIU Supporters, carrying out your creative ideas that will enhance EIU to foster global citizenship! 1. Number of post Approx. 6 persons 2. Qualifications - Undergraduate or Graduate student residing in Korea (including foreign students) - Proficiency in using SNS (blogs, Twitter, Facebook etc.) - Good command of English and Korean writing (Applicants with good command of contents production capabilities, including designing and video-making, will be given preferential treatment) 3. Selection Process - Application Period: until 21 July 2013 (Sun) - 1st Announcement: 23 July 2013 (Tue) on APCEIU Website - Interview: 26 July 2013 (Fri) - Final Announcement: 29 July 2013 (Mon) on APCEIU Website 4. Working Period - Working Period: 1 August 2013 – 31 December 2013 (5 months) - Work content: • Writing news articles regarding APCEIU and EIU (Korean, English) • Promotional activities regarding APCEIU through personal blog, SNS • Creating contents regarding EIU more than twice a month (cover, interview, video, etc) ※ Novel and creative contents will be posted on APCEIU homepage • Participating in EIU idea discussion and Supporters meeting once a month - Work benefits: • Outstanding participants will be given preference in future internship opportunities • Provided opportunities to participate in programs organized by APCEIU • Issued “APCEIU Supporters activity certificate” to those who have completed the work 5.
