Rec’vd an email from super smart colleague who is helping me with some meetings. It started with “Cool deal…” After that, I had the same sensation reading his email, that I get when I see kid art…confused, maybe even a bit disoriented – until I ck-out and pretend the email never happened, which is how I typically handle these types of emails. I am pretty good at my job, which is building relationships – GREAT at reading people – reading/deciphering tech speak…not so much. To me it is no different than trying to figure out the hieroglyphics on the great pyramids of Giza, which might actually be easier.
