Red Robin Mcdowell/99th Ave Gluten Free Experience (Recapped) I - TopicsExpress

Red Robin Mcdowell/99th Ave Gluten Free Experience (Recapped) I wanted a burger (with a bun) so after hearing RR offered such a thing, thats where we went! I was stocked! - That is until we arrived. 1. Clueless hostess told me Im a little busy right now in reference to her forgetting the gluten free menu asked for 5 minutes prior. (This might be fixed if they turn the hostess around to actually greet-speak with when we arrive - instead we got her rear) 2. Lack of toilet paper in ladies room (I was called upon to shove the last TP pieces under a stall for some unfortunate woman - What is proper emergency TP transfer protocol? Over or Under?) 3. Waitress - not ours- filed her fingernail. Wash? Nope...right back to it... 4. Waitress came. Fine. I informed her I would be eating gluten free and that I was very sensitive. She asks me so what are you allergic to? 5. Tap water (and must have included tap water ice...couldnt even fake it, asked for bottle of water) 6. Food arrived. (Minus 4 extra sauces ordered - no biggie) 7. Burger is Huge. Smushable bread though, I could pick it up. Subtle buttery something flavor in the softish giant bun. Dry but stretchy crumb. Burger okay overall, just dry 8. One paper napkin for the whole meal - I guess Im messy... 9. Waitress came back just in time to see us finish our meal and ask us if we wanted any more of the bottomless fries 9. $1.99 for a pint of Dasani bottled water -> I would be willing to try again (at another location) if faced with little else while in the midst of a burger craving. My burger came wrapped in foil to hold it together, Joes came nearly open faced (smaller bun middle)
