Red bin collection update - hi peeps, weve been advised the garbage collection trucks are still off the road, due to safety inspections of the entire Cleanaway fleet, but we hope they may start collecting this afternoon. In the meantime, please leave your red bin in a safe place on the kerbside. If garbage collection can resume today, additional trucks will be sent out to clear the backlog and the additional waste accumulated can be placed into the bin for collection at the next scheduled collection day. If disruption continues, we will make arrangements for a short term fill in contractor (if available) or we will allow residents to bring in their household waste (equivalent of 1 x 240 litre garbage bin) free of charge to the Waste Depot. Further advice will be issued later this afternoon. We apologise for the inconvenience but its unfortunately beyond our control.
