Red is a colour and cross a sign, red could be blood and cross a symbol, hey you there? whats is the meaning of Red Cross? A sign of a cross? covered with Red Blood? No I say No...RED CROSS is supreme the shield of Humanity. Nature is destroyed by humans, bullets tear the air apart and rips human flesh askew, an SOS is heard from heroes who groan in pain, a rescue team emerges from RED CROSS they are....yes RED CROSS is Supreme The shield of humanity. Abbas Gullet I wrote this poem for RED CROSS when I was in High school, I and my classmate recited the poem to you at the Red cross HQ in Nairobi... That was many years back... Today I dedicate this poem to you for you Abbas for you are a HEROE.
