Redlands now has a bicycle master plan, which will help them seek grant funding, but staff will continue to work on it over the next few months. The council directed staff to bring back an updated plan by November, per the request of Councilman Jon Harrison, who wanted to see more specifics included in the plan. The Community Based Bicycle Master Plan outlines the striping of about 175 lane miles of bike lanes throughout the city and highlights priority routes that will add connectivity between businesses, educational facilities and downtown.
