No.: 5-015/NIH/UG/ADMN/2013-14/ Date: 07/09/2013 Notice for Admission to 5½ years BHMS Degree Course (Session: 2013-14) The following candidates are instructed to appear in person (preferably with parents) for FIRST COUNSELING in connection with the admission to 5½ years BHMS Degree Course (2013-14) which will be held on 25th September (Wednesday) & 26th September (Thursday) 2013 from 10AM onwards in the Seminar Hall of the Institute. 30 (Thirty) number of candidates from the Combined Merit List and further, 16(sixteen) number of candidates from OBC category, 09(Nine) number of candidates from SC category, 05 (Five) number of candidates from ST category and 01 (one) candidate from the physically challenged category will be admitted to the BHMS Degree course subject to fulfilment of all conditions as laid down in the Prospectus. Candidates most carefully note the date on which (25th or 26th of September 2013) they have been called for counselling. They must report on the specific date mentioned against their names. Any candidate reporting on wrong date shall not be entertained. After the seats are filled up, the Counselling will stop. The remaining candidates who have reported will be enlisted in a waiting list to be contacted in case of any seat becomes vacant within the stipulated last date for admission as per CCH norms. Verification of handwriting/signature/photograph of the candidate to be admitted, who appeared in the admission test held on 9th June 2013 shall be carried out. Strict legal action will be initiated against fraudulent candidates. In case of candidates failing to appear for the counselling on the date and time as given above, their chance will be allotted to next candidate in the order of merit. The eligible candidates will be admitted on the same day on payment of required fees as indicated in the Prospectus. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the counselling. The candidates will have to produce the following at the time of Counselling: 1. Photo identity card(s) issued by the respective State Governments or Govt. of India. 2. All certificates in original including Pass Certificate, Admit card & Mark Sheet of 10th& 12th Standard (along with two photo copies duly attested). 3. Original Hall ticket of the All India Entrance Test held on 9th June 2013. 4. Migration certificate in original in case of migrated candidates (along with two photocopies duly attested). 5. Medical certificate from any Government hospital stating that the candidate is not blind (including colour blind)/deaf and/or dumb. 6. Bond (as mentioned in the Prospectus) of Rs. 30,000/- on Non Judicial Stamp Paper of the Rs. 100/- (Refer Propectus). 7. Six coloured photographs (size 4.5 × 3.5 cm.), duly signed by the candidate on the back (Do not paste). 8. The fees Rs. 41,250/- in the form of Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of Director, National Institute of Homoeopathy, payable at Kolkata. 9.
