#Reflecting... (18/11/2014) I recently read this statement from one if the writing blogs I follow: You are not one in a million; you are one in six billion. You better believe that! The length and breadth of what the writer wants you and I to know is that we are unique. Period. None in the over 6 billion other people who live and move upon the face of this earth share with us our peculiarities, our identity. Your finger print is unique — far different from late Dr. Azikiwes. Your (natural) look is unique — distinct from president Goodlucks. Your voice too is unique — in several ways unlike Sinachs. Everything about you is unique — you are not another Mahatma Gandhi, Margret Thatcher or Nelson Mandela. You were fearfully and wonderfully carved out by the Creator. You are not (what some philosophers call) a cosmic accident. Nothing you possess is a consequence of this line of reasoning. You are perfectly orchestrated by the forces of the divine Trinity and placed here on earth — not because the heavenly industry was heavily pressured to produce more babies to supply the human market earth — but because the timing and condition for you to explore the earth is (simply...) just right. I say to you today, my friend, accept yourself, believe you possess unique gifts, and communicate your thoughts confidently with the people around you. (Yes, it is an A-B-C.) The chances are high theyll listen to you and will feel inspired. Why? Simply because your thought process will sound extraordinarily unpredictable and — yes! — that extraordinary thought process of yours shall vibrate their hearts in a unique degree . . . uniquely different from Obamas. You are winsome. You are terrific.
