Reflecting on Former Maine Senator Olympia Snowe during the shutdown and the Tea Party agenda effects on the Republican Party. Susan Collins is part of the gridlock as represented by her vote to shutdown forcing the opposing parties hand on an unrelated budget issue so the Tea a party could get their way. Olympia Snowes conviction on finding compromise and solutions, talking through the issues for the good of the country was always the priority. Gridlock is nothing more then a repetitive ramming into a brick wall. It makes a hell of a noise but accomplishes nothing . Shenna Bellows has Olympias determination and drive. The past 10 years Congress has become stagnated from gridlock with big money corporations influences on our elected officials. Lets step back and elect smart candidates who are ready to work on solutions. We cant allow Congress to gridlock and political drama to be the theme. Fire Gridlock Collins and choose solution solvers like Shenna Bellows and Emily Cain to Congress.
