Reflecting on my week....... Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Lots of trips back and forth to the Vancouver International Airport this past week. Many moving down to sunnier locations for the winter months and others just going to visit family for the holidays. Got some awesome news on Friday from my daughter, who is about 3 months pregnant. She went for her initial ultrasound on Friday and she found out she is having TWINS! I am beyond excited, and so is she and her husband. Shes always dreamed of having twins, and now she has been granted that wish. Wont know what the genders of the babies are until late January at her next ultrasound. Im going up to five grandchildren......they are due in June. Yesterday I spent the afternoon and evening babysitting my grandson, Logan, who is now 16 months old. We had lots of fun playing with cars and balls. Tried shopping at Chapters but the crowds were crazy and it was too hard to maneuver his stroller. Checked out the fish at the pet store. Logan is absolutely crazy about cars, trucks, alligators with wheels. He spent most of his time playing with them, driving them up and down grandmas legs, the back of the couch. It didnt matter to him! I was a tired grandma when I got home at 10:30 pm. This morning was an absolutely beautiful sunny day. Went with my friend for our weekend distance run. I have come a long way since I started running again about three months ago. This morning I managed to run just over 10 km. I felt great. Ive now decided to train for a half marathon in the new year.
