Reflection: Fathers throwing kids off bridges; siblings killing siblings; non-caring humans abounding; morals are in decay; Gov. intruding on parental rights; homeless families freezing in record cold temps; call log up 50%; donations are virtually non-existent; and still struggling to raise funds to finish the kitchen at the shelter... This world can frustrate you if you let it. As we work with the mens, womens, and domestic abuse shelters, they share the same concerns. When you are frustrated and realize how out of tilt things are, take a moment to pray. Thank God for the blessings he has given you, and when you are done arise and do something good for at least 1 person. In a world of hurt, Jesus went about doing good (Acts 10:38), helping others with their physical and spiritual needs. What a difference we would make if we did the same. Lifting Lives has not yet met several goals, but we dream and work hard pursuing them. We do good -with what we have- in the life of every family who calls upon us. We thank each of you who partners with us to do good in the lives of homeless families. Keep doing good.
