Reflection on seminar, Research competency: Mapping & Management. Competence is a natural consequence of whole hearted involvement of accomplishing any task. Success or failure is merely the validation of EGO in the light of its likes & dislikes. Intense efforts to realize the GOAL one sets for the SELF leads to understanding. Skills required to generate knowledge can never be acquired by ruttofying the definitions of determination, dedication & devotion, rather they are merely byproducts on the way to SELF expression. Competency is an inner state of mind reflecting an effortless spontaneous response in accordance to one’s ability where one ceases to bear the burden of responsibility & is always at EASE while engaging in activity about which one is competent.
