Reflection time.... I am always my own biggest critic when it - TopicsExpress

Reflection time.... I am always my own biggest critic when it comes to our shows and anything that happens surrounding them. I think in hindsight we packed an awful lot onto last nights show and it was probably too much giving us a finish time later than we wanted. Re-hitting the amazing heights we managed last month at show 9 was always going to be a tough ask but I know in my heart that everyone involved with HOPE last night gave it their damdest as they have for me every time they have worked and show wise, for a company just going through its one year land mark, I am proud of how far we have come. Now for the positives.... Last night boasted our biggest crowd to date...and whilst there were some incredibly odd chants coming from some sections of the crowd, in general they were in good voice. We have used 62 different wrestlers, 11 crew members (announcers/commentators/backstage) and 3 referees over the course of the year. With FUTR set to launch in September, we can expect a significant rise in those numbers for sure. Last night I invited along someone that I have a lot of respect for to review the show for me in a completely impartial way as a fan who was completely new to the product.... am I sh*tting myself about what may be said? No.... The whole reason for constructive feedback is to learn and grow....and I am under no illusions that HOPE is the finished article...... but I am dam sure gonna break my neck if i have to and do everything i can to get it there. 4 Towns, 5 Venues, 11 Shows.... It has been a crazy year.... bring on the next one! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to every fan, wrestler, announcer or person who has supported us throughout the year, I am truly grateful x
