Regarding 2nd Block Rocks Trip to the WVMEA Conference- I just wanted to say thank you to everyone involved with our WVMEA conference trip. The performances and presentations were terrific. Thanks to Presonus, Ricardo, Charlie, and Kenny we had great equipment and great sound support. Speaking of support, I want to give a huge shout out to Brian Alder, Amy Brady Jasperse, Sarah Carr, Billy Ayres, and Tasha Allder for helping in all the expected and unexpected ways. It was a pleasure sharing this experience with the All State Choir students and their incredible director, Barbara Lutz. Kudos to her and the great help from Joseph Lutz and Marie Propps. Also none of this would be possible without our supportive administration. From Mr. Bryant at East to Mrs. Dalton at the Board Office and Mrs. Shifflet with CTE, we have consistently been given opportunities to develop this program in ways that otherwise would be only imaginable. Our community has been extremely helpful in promoting what these students are doing. We have enjoyed past performances and look forward to future opportunities. Thanks to people like Roger Dolan of the Wild Bean and Lisa Stansell of the Mountain Messenger for helping get the word out! Finally THANK YOU to the student members past and present for going on this journey with me. Looking forward to the future !
