Regarding American Spring on May 16, 2014 From my first hints of this operation, I was ready to lend it my full support. That has not changed for me but I have my reasons for what I do and they are ‘my reasons’. You folks will just have to decide if I warrant trust in this venue or not. I refuse to justify or rationalize my actions in this war to any that have just entered the theater. From the beginning, I have never sought any positions of command or authority over anyone. My goal is to promote free will and preserve the sanctity of life and I cannot breach those two parameters. Therefore, in all of this I have consistently done what I do best, operating on my own free will. I have looked for facts and used them to piss off my enemy. Most who know me, also know I consider myself cannon fodder with a special set of propaganda skills. You are free to question my resolve but I am not going to bother questioning anyone’s in return; I know distractive tactics when I see them. I did not write the book on them but I added a few chapters. Immediately following my posting of Dr. Jim Garrow’s “Getting things started” letter, comments beseeched my mailbox, attacking my actions for posting the letter and supporting the action. Some had context, some insight and some were just more of the routine death threats and labeling me a terrorist that I have enjoyed now for sometime. One in particular, written in the form of a “military command”, made me laugh and while I do respect the command structure of any military or paramilitary unit, I never blindly accept commands from unidentified sources without validation. As far as Dr. Garrow, I trust and respect him deeply so if he supports an idea, I generally will follow suite. I am however publishing this as a general letter in the hopes he reads it and its follow-up, though I am sure, there will be nothing in it that he is not already aware. Please try to understand that a propaganda war is just as real and just as deadly as one that has bullets, bombs and artillery. It is ever the prelude to defeat or actual physical war. It is like a neutron bomb blast; it takes out your enemies but leaves the infrastructure intact. While I am still going to be in D.C. on that day regardless of the propaganda hurled at others, and me I encourage those who know of this event to make their choice not based on propaganda but on facts. Who are the people organizing this event and what is the objective? Is the objective obtainable and if so who would be in command after obtaining the objective? I strongly urge anyone who cannot answer these questions right now, to reconsider attending, for your own safety. In talking with several folks to see their views on this action I have managed to develop a good sense of both outcomes and potentials. Therefore, you the reader are aware; Oath Keepers is NOT involved in this rally NOR are they supporting it and I support their position on this matter. This is from the horse’s mouth, so to speak, and anything you hear contrary to this fact is propaganda. Other groups that have also decided against attending the rally for a variety of reasons, I can only say there is lots of talk. I am only going to focus on the Oath Keepers’ reasons, because there I have first hand insight. Oath Keepers, contrary to the propaganda, is not a militia. They are moving, educating and growing based on the idea of preservation not aggression. If you feel that this sort of concept is a cop-out in any sense of the ideology, you have never seen war. There is more going on with Oath Keepers than meets the average, keyboard militia, member’s eyes. I strongly urge anyone that claims to be an Oath Keeper to begin going to regular meetings in your area and stop saying you are an Oath Keeper but start being one. A simple search to the National Website and quick readings of their guidelines and function will go a long way to educating you about talking the talk if you are not walking the walk. While I am an Oath Keeper, please understand I am also many other things, so my actions are my own and Oath Keepers is not party to nor supporting them. They also do not restrict the choices of their members to be amongst other groups. This would be contrary to the very spirit of Oath Keepers. They are hard-line though about what they will publically support and will not, with good reason so they are not supporting American Spring and I consider the matter closed. I want to ask again, those who are OK members to get involved now with your local groups. Many are starting up Citizen’s Emergency Response Teams (CERT), radio and communication classes and other priority program s that all can benefit from the education. If you do not have a chapter in your area, get with the national site and find a nearby one or register with them and begin your own. They are not militia, the focus is on the preservation of the community, safety and anything from the Southern Poverty Law Center about them being a hate group is just hogwash. Next, we need to focus on just who is running the show regarding American Spring, so you folks can make the right choice. Again, I will be attending but then I am stupid enough to have attended all of the Washington rally’s since getting to the area. Personally, I think that speaks for it self and I applaud everyone that has managed the hardship to attend the events that I have gotten to meet. I was an honor to meet everyone of you Patriots. Some were better than others were, yet each was a positive experience in their own way. The point is, you are free to question my resolve but I suggest you do so to my face, if you have the balls. Show up in D.C., and you do not have to worry about finding me, I will find you quick and you can question me about your doubts then, okay. More to come.
