Regarding Coyotes - For Brush Fire Partyline Fans Only Twice in one week, 2 Euc Hills/ Lakeside neighbors have reported coyotes jumping over fences and attacking their dogs, 1st incident: A neighbor reports a group of coyotes jumped over his 5 foot fence and attacked his dog while he was standing only a few feet away, he was yelling at it to get away, the coyote was not fearful at all. Just a few days before, I had a telephone conversation with this neighbor, he told me he did not mind the coyotes, as they keep the rabbit population under control. Today he has a different opinion. 2nd incident: A Coyote attacked and killed beloved 20 pound dog on July 14 at 2:30 am on Oak Creek Dr near Eucalyptus Hills Dr. The Coyote had to have jumped 6 foot fence. Dog went out doggie door to use bathroom and was attacked. Coyote left mangled dog in yard. Saw coyote on way back from hospital an hour later still running around the neighborhood. We need to do something to combat these animals killing our pets. Is anyone interested in creating a posse to try to deal with the influx of coyotes in our neighborhood? For your information: It is legal to shoot coyotes who are attacking your pets and livestock. However, you are responsible for your round, and what it hits. Know that you have a safe backstop before pulling the trigger. Highpower Air Rifles will easily kill coyotes, you might want a 22 cal over the 177. pyramydair/s/m/Diana_RWS_350_Feuerkraft_Pro_Compact/1502
