Regarding Henry Browns visitation and funeral service: Because of the large number of people we are expecting in attendance at Henrys visitation and services, here is some helpful information regarding the church, parking etc. The Lutheran Church of Our Blessed Savior is located at 309 West Washington Street, between West and Black Streets. There are 2 primary entrances to the church. The Washington Street entrance is actually in to the Education Wing of the building, but the sanctuary can be reached by turning right at the top of the stairs. The South entrance is off the parking lot and you enter the narthex and then in to the sanctuary where the family will be receiving friends. The south entrance at the parking lot is the best entrance for those needing handicap accessibility or drop off. There is street parking on both north and south sides of Washington Street and the west side of Black Street. The visitation on Friday is from 2 pm to 7 pm. We will have funeral home staff available to guide you when you arrive. For the day of the funeral service, the family will receive friends after 10 am at the church and the service begins at 11. If you plan on going to the cemetery in procession, then pull around to the parking lot where our staff will direct you. If you are going to the service but not going to the cemetery please use the street parking mentioned above. The church parking lot will only hold 20-25 cars which will be needed for family and friends going to the cemetery.
