Regarding charges for the collection of bulky household waste.Having looked through the council web site it would appear that we will now be charged fifteen pounds for three items and five pounds per item after that up to a maximum of five items per collection booked.Meaning that they will collect no more than five items at a time and charge twenty five pounds for it.They do,however,suggest some charities such as the British Heart Foundation that will collect white goods that are in working order.We will publish further details and contact numbers in our next news letter.
