Regarding the Australian obsession with lawns and mowing.... Much as I try to do away with the domestic lawn, you still get sentenced to some grass under foot such as on the nature strip (like with serfdom, you must mow it for council). (And when I tried to do away with the lawn there Im at war with my neighbours who are anally fixated on lawns. Whats wrong with growing pumpkins there methinks?) Since I passionately hate mowing -- the fueling, motor starting, pushing, raking and such. Tis a dirty and unnecessary activity unless one was fixin to putt or lawn bowl. So when I decided to go electric and having given up on the push mower option I am DELIGHTED with my Littl’ Juey. Best thing since sliced bread. If the grass grows too long and becomes a bit tufty, out comes my electric Littl’ Juey whipper snipper with the mean cutting head and snip snip ... Im done. No tangles. No need to swap spools or pour in petrol or dislocate a shoulder. Im not into product endorsement but NOT MOWING is a passion of mine and this is the best fix Ive found. If you were renting and needed to cut the rental propertys lawn, deploying the Littl’ Juey may be worth considering for the job.
