Regarding the U.S. Senates Democrat vote yesterday that changed - TopicsExpress

Regarding the U.S. Senates Democrat vote yesterday that changed the requirement to confirm a presidential nominee from 60 votes to only 51 votes, a callers suggestion on a local talk show yesterday made absolute sense and should be implemented immediately! The U.S. House has the purse strings. So, for any nominee that is confirmed by the Senate without receiving the previous 60-vote requirement, THE HOUSE SHOULD PASS LEGISLATION TO STOP ANY PAY OR SALARY FOR THAT NOMINEE UNTIL THE 60-VOTE REQUIREMENT IS REINSTATED! The House has the power to do this. Now it should exercise that power for the sake of our country!
