Regardless of the politics, Id like to remind anyone who trashes this person, to consider what his election said about the American Dream in global terms. Because our country managed to overlook its darkest history - of slavery & racism & all the rest - to freely elect someone whose name Barack means Blessing in Hebrew & Arabic - we have proven something the rest of the world can rightly envy or admire about our system. As flawed as it, & individuals may be, it is a reason to love the USA.
