Reggae Dancehall music was originated in Jamaica. Most Hip Hop, Rap, R&B Artists and other Artists worldwide are harvesting our culture and benefiting tremendously because they have the resources to do so. Neyo, lil Wayne, Nikki Minaj, Bruno Mars and even Tupac and Biggie Smalls have sampled or recorded on Reggae beats to name a few. Jamaican Artists are fighting each other. We need to compete with the international foreign Artists creating better quality music with proper english for people accross the globe to understand. Stop recording on foreign beats! If the foreign Artists are fascinated with our music, why not make it better? Take Bob Marley and Peter Tosh into consideration, most of their lyrics are properly constructed in perfect english hence the reason they are still topping Itunes and Billboard charts to date.
