On St. Patricks Day, Monday March 17, we invite you to participate in a candidate filing workshop. We hope to be lucky enough to have you run for a neighborhood council seat in region 8, which includes Historic Highland Park, Arroyo Seco, Boyle Heights, Eagle Rock, Glassell Park, Greater Cypress Park, LA-32 and Lincoln Heights. Passionate, dedicated and goal driven stakeholders is the kind of GOLD we need in northeast LA neighborhoods. Share your charm and skills for the betterment of our community, work with city hall, and engage stakeholders in city government and local issues. If youve filed to be a candidate bring any documents you may need to submit. Come talk to existing and former board members about what being on the NC entails.
