Registered Nurse - Coronary Care Unit Full-time and Part-time Positions available Our Client is one of the most modern, clinically advanced private hospitals in Australia. Working in partnership with some of Australias leading medical specialists, the hospital has developed a strong reputation in Cardiac, Orthopaedics & Spinal Care, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Cancer Care, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Colorectal and Urology. We have an exciting opportunity for highly motivated Registered Nurses with strong cardiac knowledge and experience to join our team in the Coronary Care Unit. The unit consists of 7 single rooms that all have invasive and non-invasive monitoring and telemetry capacity. Our patients include admissions post interventional angiography, pacemaker/ICD insertion and electrophysiology studies/ablations. The unit also manages acute cardiac medical admissions such as Myocardial Infarction, Acute Pulmonary Oedema, Unstable Angina Pectoris and arrhythmia management. Essential Criteria • Current nursing/midwifery registration with AHPRA • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Cardiology along with Acute Cardiology and Cardiac Interventional knowledge • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • High standard of customer service and a team approach • Intermediate computer skills Our client provides an outstanding working environment, modern facilities, innovative education programmes and a supportive executive team.
