Regrets (in no particular order): 1. I didnt tie 550 cord around the necks of the beer bottles stashed in the creek at Lupine Meadows (water was up and washed em away). Luckily Jim Simmonds had beer on ice waiting in the car ... may I recommend Idaho Sockeye IPA in the red can? 2. I should have carried the boots and used sneakers going up... I always - always - get blisters going up. They were great going down - but wanted to save ounces so didnt pack em. 3. I wish I could have convinced Arantza Zabala to put her feet up and relax one more night at Petzold Caves... The victory wine is undrunk. I guess it will hafta wait for the after-climb party. 4. Hard case for the sunglasses. Or bring an extra pair. I busted mine on one of the pack hauls - and have snowblind, scratchy eyes today. 5. Spare phone battery... It would have been fun to facebook from the bivy site - imagine it! 6. Space blanket vapor barrier... Just a few ounces but so much better than that flimsy poncho. And... #space. 7. Rethink my balaclava - thick and warm was perfect. But the string toggle ended up dead center on my nose... Ive got options with other balaclavas that dont have that hassle. 8.
