Rejection is a very painful situation that can strip a person of their confidence, esteem, and self worth. How you respond to it can either help or weaken you. If you will remind yourself of the truth, and the truth being that in the eyes of God it really doesn’t make a difference how people look at you or what they think of you, His opinion is the only one that really matters. It’s your rejection of what others may think or say, and your acceptance that only God’s opinion matters, which determines your future success. Furthermore, no one can change God’s plans for you. Remember, God’s thoughts of you didn’t begin with your birth. He tells us in His Word that from the foundation of the world He knew you, and His desire for you is that you may prosper and be in good health. Recognize that God has a purpose for your life. Paul said in Romans 8:28 “And we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into his plans.” TLB It’s your love and commitment to Him and willingness to be led by Him, which is the determining factor for your future.
