Rejection is what shes afraid of. Thats why she keeps her feelings to herself. She likes you. She really likes you. But she doesnt know if you feel the same way about her. You dont seem like you like her as much and she isnt trying to make a fool out of herself when she gets everything off of her chest just to be shut down and be told I just want to be friends. She doesnt want to go thru that with you because, well, she actually wants to keep you in her life. Shes lost a lot of guy friends throughout her life but with you, its different. She didnt plan on getting to know you, she didnt plan on spending so much time with you, she didnt plan on talking to you so much, she didnt plan on liking you, she didnt plan on falling for you, but she did. She just hopes that when the time comes that she builds up enough courage to let you know she feels, you would feel the same way towards her and you guys could be something more than what you are now. In the meantime, shell just be patient and wait until she sees a sign that youre interested in her as well.
