Relationship Advice: I ran into a lot of hostility on the book today. Ladies- its okay to feel frustrated at men from time to time. Thats natural. A lot of us are not ready for commitment. Usually its a situation caused by other women who allow free milk (if you know what I mean). You cant give up on men because there is only 1 man that you need. That means all the others wont be any good for you. Let him come to you. Going from 0 to 100 on a guy who has the wrong approach may shoo away the 1 good guy (if hes watching- you never know). I like to consider myself a good man, but its not for me to say (you gotta ask my wife). With that- poise and humility can go a long way. A good man knows a good woman by a consistent demeanor especially when confronted. Dont think the good guy isnt watching you before he makes the decision to approach you (because he wants to know what he is asking for before his approach). A good woman wont look good because she is too busy being good. There wont be split personalities between church and the club. Its one of the biggest turn offs for a man who has serious intent. Good people find each other while doing good things, and they keep each other because they are consistent. When you hear a man talk to his family about the woman he plans to marry, what is the first thing he says about her?....She is a good girl! If that isnt in your vernacular right now then thats fine. Just dont expect Mr. Right to show up. Its not a reasonable expectation. You have to be more selective about the attention you need (notice I didnt say want). One more thing- stop thinking that dude you see on TV is the perfect guy. The good guy aint at the club. He aint on his motorcycle cruising. Hes at work. Go find your good man there. Hes at a bank. Yep- a bank account means he is acquiring assistance in keeping track of the money he earned, and hes not worried about law enforcement and/or associates trying to kill him for it. Hes at church or other house of worship praying for a good woman to start a family with. Hes at the grocery store buying food that he has to cook. Look in the basket and you can tell by the items that he was raised to handle domestication (no hot pockets). His car aint new because he knows that a new car is the worst investment a man can make. Furthermore- he is saving his money so he can buy a new car with cash. His wallet has no cash in it. It has receipts, business cards, a couple of credit cards, AND INSURANCE CARDS. I hope this helped somewhat. This is a post in general, not pointing anyone out in particular. So dont curse me out if you feel that I am (lol).
