Relaxing after a very LONG, HOT day. The pups did great despite the heat and despite me. Double QQ for Ruby and River. They both won Master JWW (Ruby saved my butt cuz I forgot how to run the Vizsla), River ended up 2nd in Master STD (he and Maya decided to switch positions ;) ). Didnt see how Ruby ended up as we ran at 6:45 PM, I checked the board to see the Q and we left. I ran River a bit carefully in STD as I really wanted the QQ and I wasnt feeling so great from the heat. Even though I tried to stay hydrated and out of the sun, I still got hit with a major migraine around 4 pm. :( While the trial wasnt run so well, I do have to give kudos to our Judge - great courses! - and the Boy Scouts who tirelessly worked all day right alongside us. Also thanks to my husband for hanging out all day even though he wasnt entered.
