#ReleaseOduduUkpanah Protest: Few words to Akwa Ibom people Just before Team #ReleaseOduduUkpanah hit the street of Uyo today to protest, I have few words of advice to every Akwa Ibom person. This is no time for anybody or group to be unconcerned because Odudu could have been anybodys son, brother, friend, spouse, mentor, destiny helper, in law or associate. In Odudu, could be a star the world is waiting for to shine. This injustice meted on Odudu and his family could have been meted on anybody and any family. At times like this, silence is not an option for it will only allow this evil to prosper. In the words of Edmund Burkeall it takes for evil to prosper is for people of goodwill to do nothing. To every father and every mother out there, Odudu could be that son you would not want to loose. To every single lady out there, Odudu could be that suitor you are praying for. To every boy/man out there, Odudu could that true friend you are searching for. To every socio-political/cultural group out there, Odudu could be that one active member you need. To every civil right society and human right activist, Odudu is a call to duty. To every media house/blog, Odudu is that news you must report. To every clergy and every church, Odudu is that soul heaven is asking for. To the international community, Odudu is a symbol of unity (as a product of the UK educational system). To every security agent/agency out there, Odudu is that life you must protect. To every enterprise, business and corporate organization, Odudu could be that one customer you cant afford to loose. To every lawyer, every judge and every court out there, Odudu is that case that justice must prevail. But most importantly, to our government, Odudu is that mandate the people gave to you and his safety is that constitutional duty you owe the people. Odudu is something to everybody. Let us all rise and speak for Odudu Albert Ukpanah. Let us in one voice demand his immediate release before it is too late.
