“Religion is nasihah (sincerity and advice)” is one of the fundamental principles of the religion; all of its aspects revolve around Allah, His Messenger, His Book, the leaders of the Muslims and their common folk. Whoever establishes all of them is the most perfect of reformers, and whoever takes a share of it, has taken a share of the religion. Moreover, advice, in all its forms, must be based on knowledge, tolerance, patience and gentleness. Advising those in authority who adopt Shari`ah as the rule of law, has many ways. Revolutions and protests are not among its requisites. O Allah, guide us to the truth, by Your permission, in that which they have differed. الدين النصيحة أصل من أصول الديانة، ينتظم كل نواحيها لله ولرسوله ولكتابه وللأئمة المسلمين وعامتهم، فالقائم بجميعها هم المصلحون الكُمَّل. ومن أخذ بنصيب منها أخذ بشعبة من الديانة. وبناء النصيحة في كل صورها على العلم والحلم والصبر والرفق. ومناصحة ولاة الأمر الذين يعتمدون الشرع حاكما لها طرق عدة، فليس من لوازمها الثورات والاحتجاجات، اللهم اهدنا لما اختلف فيه من الحق بإذنك
