Religion is rejection of reason, a leap of faith and self-deception. Religious hide lack of knowledge by calling it God. They can’t reason how God came to be, so a meta-God made him. Death is eternal absence; God is utter absence: we can only know what he isn’t because he isn’t. Religion needs causes because it needs somewhere to pin its big beards in the sky. They say that God does not need to be created by anything, but are not prepared to apply the same to the universe itself. We share attributes (50% of our DNA) with bananas; do we say that bananas are made in our image? There are billion plus each of Christians, Muslims & Hindus who believe differently. A billion people is an impressive number, but we know that at least two billion plus people are wrong. So the mere fact that lots of people believe something is not of itself evidence. When any one absurdity is questioned, the whole jumper of preposterous claims starts to unravel on the kitten claws of reason. Imtiaz Mahmood https://facebook/imtiaz.mahmood.96 ~Shaz
