Religion prompted Bilal and Mudasir to join militant ranks =>Bilal Ahmed Lone aka Bilal Molvi resident of Lelhar according to family was a bright student and religious minded youth. His family members told CNS that he joined the LeT outfit in 2011 and from past three years, he rarely visited his home.“He went missing in 2011 and it was police which informed us that Bilal has joined militant ranks,” they said.“Bilal was a student of Boys Higher Secondary Pulwama who passed his 12th class examination with 82 per cent marks. Only five days after joining Degree College Pulwama,Bilal went missing and after that we failed to trace him. It was police which informed us that he is involved in the killing of a congress leader Ajaz Ahmed Shah who was gunned down by unidentified militants in Newa Pulwama,” the family said addingthat if police are to be believed, itwas then Divisional Commander LeT Rehman Bai who persuaded Bilal to join militant ranks.They said Bilal was very religiousand despite so young he was deeply respected in the area.The family members of another militant Mudasir Ahmed Shiekh of Kisrigam told CNS that it was deep love and tilt toward religion that prompted Mudasir to join LeT. “He was very religious and used to mostly spent his time in religious discourses,” one of the family members of Mudasir said.Mudasir was a student of Boys Higher Secondary School Kakapora who joined the LeT recently.
