Remember a few months ago when we announced that 2 cars from Nigeria were participating in the Shell Eco Marathon, Unilag did the country and continent proud by emerging 3rd best overall out of 203 competitors with their car Autonov 2. The team isn’t resting on its laurels as they have been invited to participate in a similar competition holding in Cape Town, South Africa in October, the school is already hard at work on another car to be ready before the competition. In addition, an advert on the University website informs us that applications to join TEAM UNILAG in preparation for the 2015 Shell Eco Marathon are officially open.
