Remember a while ago when I called for Canada to get a Magic Party? Marianne Williamson is basically doing this in the States, except she is the Miracle Lady and will run a Miracle Party. Magic and miracles in this context are one in the same. When the world is in the pickle that its currently in, I dont see a problem with expecting miracles, and in fact, I dont see what any of us have to lose. This is the way life is supposed to operate anyways, through magic and the resulting miracles. We think its luck and were otherwise undeserving of abundant goodness, and then we go about living life as if nothing ever happened, no life is precious, and the human system is meant to be worked like a slave. Our parents did it, their parents did it; we all hate The Man, and through our early twenties, exist in protest of it, then when we realize our only hope to succeed in amassing fortune is to jump on the corporate bandwagon, we sell our souls to dollar dollar land and forget about Mother Earth and our friends. We make our parents proud as we feed the monster, pointing fingers at whoever the bureaucrats and media tell us to. Interesting its usually the people who live in poverty. Theres something wrong with them, we think, why dont they clean themselves up? In yoga we talk about breath and awareness as keys to healing the physical and emotional bodies. Although its imperative that we exercise selective hearing when government and media ooze the gloom and doom that we pay them to, its tantamount to acknowledge human suffering, both globally and individually. Imagine if the entire world learned how to breathe... The dance challenges us not to take on the suffering of others ourselves, but also not turn a blind eye to the realities of far too many earth angels. Compassion, not ignorance, is changing the world. So how, with seven billion different perspectives on Earth, will we ever find common ground? Trust that the universe has our backs, because this go round it does. Indeed it always has, but this time greed and deceit are no longer tolerated. I think this is apparent given the expansive array of current political and economic circumstance. The system is crumbling—it has too—and then we will build a new system from the ground up. Why wouldnt we start now, when Mars is in Virgo, where all things are possible? So while the action orientation of the human race is being purified in Virgo, we have a karmic clearing and transformation of the self happening in Scorpio. With Mercury retrograde in Scorpio plumbing the depths of our deepest, darkest secrets, were genuinely being given an opportunity to put the past to bed where it belongs. This doesnt mean we take our ignorance and insecurities with us. These issues are coming up to be released, not rehashed over and again. Although I suppose we have to rehash things until we sort them. Another ship always comes. Mars in Virgo supports us in living in harmony with the planet and her people. Yes, we are souls in bodies, but these bodies are made of earth—are of earth. How do we live in the physical and honour the nonphysical and vice versa? Considering we spend any given moment in nine or more dimensions of time and space (thoughts, feelings, knowing, etc.), theres more to us than we might know. The physical, nonetheless, is a gift, and all of us will do a hell of a lot better when we feel that way as a collective. Bob Marley wasnt lying when he sang, ONE LOVE.
