Remember, if you want to race the true Toughest Race In Florida, The Intimidator Extreme 13.1... then you must qualify on July 12th OR send me official results showing you competed in a Triathlon that had a 1/2 mile swim. You must also be able to climb a 3/4 rope at least 15 off the ground, with no knots. Both of these can be done on July 12th at our upcoming Fun Day. The Extreme Intimidator race date is July 18th, 2015 and I am capping the field at 250 Extreme Athletes. This race will only be one single wave. Everyone starts at the same time. Registration will open on July 12th, but only at the ROA Fun Day. I will open online registration the next day, but you cannot register online unless you have qualified in some manner. The EI13.1 will test every single muscle in your body, including your mind! Every obstacle on the 700 acres will be used and new challenges will be added. Pushing, dragging, carrying, swimming, climbing, crawling, sliding and mind control challenges. The winner of this race will truly be a Champion! Please dont consider this race if you THINK you have what it takes. You need to KNOW you have what it takes. No one will do two laps, and there will be time requirements along the course that you must be meeting in the race, or you will not be allowed to continue, due to safety concerns. The mile average of 19 minutes will be enforced. Sounds easy for 19 minute miles... dont bet on it!! I expect the elite winner to take over 3 hours to complete the course! The cost will be 100.00 on July 12th, then the price increases to 135.00 after that! Are you Spartan, a Warrior, A real Tough Mudder, a Titan, a Seal, a Special Ops, a Savage or Superman ... maybe even consider yourself a real Highlander....?? You can be all of those... but the Intimidator Extreme will put you up against others in a single wave race that will prove you are a Champion. No frills, no big party, no kids race. There will be a huge trophy for the overall Champion in male and female and age group awards as well. There will be medals for the FINISHERS! Only the Finishers get Finisher Medals. The Medals do not automatically come with your entry... you must EARN the Finisher Medal.... by Finishing! I think I am going to enjoy making extreme athletes cry uncle! Start training now! Rock On!
