Remember our news about the large marine turtle bust in Vietnam last month (on.fb.me/1GZtxMR)? Together with a law enforcement task force from Khanh Hoa, our grantee Education for Nature - Vietnam (ENV) continues to make excellent progress with this case. Yesterday, a pig farm in Nha Trang was raided where marine turtles are being stored by Vietnams marine turtle kingpin. This is the same man who owns the three warehouses raided last month, where police confiscated 4.3 tons of marine turtles (approximately 1,000 animals) that were being processed prior to being smuggled to China.
