Remember, the Clay County Election Board will meet tomorrow night (January 29), at 6 p.m., to consider passage of the Clay County Vote Center Plan. Quick Breakdown of Proposed Plan: 8 Vote Centers on Election Day, each of which will have ballot style for the county. Early Voting in the Election Office starting 28 days prior to Election Day, a second early voting location each of the 2 Saturdays before the election (one Saturday in Cory and one in Bowling Green). The voting machines themselves will remain the same, while instead of a paper pollbook, Electronic Pollbooks will be used in an effort to increase the speed and efficiency of checking in to vote.
