Remember the little chick that was going to be killed and got smuggled out in a handbag? Well I put it in with my two Silkies ( fluffy chickens ) they are in a smaller enclosure as they get picked on by the others, I hate seeing chickens not having freedom and this was another job to add to the list, making them a separate section of the garden.Both of them get broody so you can imagine their delight when this baby arrived, they took it completely under their wings.Well today I decided to try them all mixing with the others, so that they would get the maximum room. Well the Silkies have changed. I have heard people say many times Im quiet as a mouse but mess with my kids and i will break your legs Well this was the silkies today bless, anyone dare go near her and they were there defending her to the hilt ! Lets hope this harmony remains hey:) Cassie has been neutered today so no more babies for her and her potential home is being visited tomorrow so hopefully she will able to go soon and finally but not least, some fab news, our Fletch is finally going to have his own family to love him, hes not going till Sept but what a fabulous home hes got, huge thank you to Helen Gallagher for sharing him. Going to miss this boy so much but he deserves so much more than I can give, way to go Fletch ;)
