Remember the uproar over getting my apartment inspection ready with our disabilities and all the stuff that had to be moved around to be in compliance? Almost done! Inspection is Thursday. I have just little odds/ends to do today which will take most of the day when you factor in I am also doing laundry and fixing meals. Tomorrow is the day to sweep, mop, clean cabinets, sinks, toilet, etc. And then pray the dog doesnt shed overnight LOL!!! Remember the help I was supposed to get? Never showed up. I did all of it myself. Mike cant do any of it with his back and arms. I fell once and busted a door that they have two days to replace before the inspection. This whole thing took me two weeks doing it by myself when it would have taken about two days if I had the help. My body and lungs have been through a lot of stress and I am pushing myself now but after Thursday I should be able to rest. Never again will I put my body through this and I will be homeless before I do it again. It is possible they may not pass us anyway since one bedroom, while it has a clear path to the window/fire escape, is not as neat as I would prefer but after I fell that pretty much shut me down for heavy lifting. The dining area, however, is very neatly stacked and I actually gained some space! I am still cleaning up dead bugs every day but I still have live ones so I put out fresh poison gel every other day in new areas hoping to slow them down and everything, I do mean everything, that has been opened is in a bug proof container of some sort. And that includes bread, pastries, etc., go into baggies and Tupperware. Hopefully, this will all turn out well on Thursday.
